"Karomi, The Handloom Tree: Celebrating Craft, Community, and Sustainability"

At the helm of Karomi, stood two passionate women dedicated to uplifting the Bengal weaving community through sustainability. As their designer and art director, I embarked on a journey to capture the essence of their Handloom sarees.

The photo shoot aimed to showcase the elegance of craft and the seamless blend of traditional and modern designs. At its core, we wanted to evoke emotions of togetherness and community. To achieve this, we carefully selected a location steeped in heritage, infusing the imagery with a sense of history and culture.

Keeping the mood joyous and light, we exuded positivity, reflecting the spirit of Karomi and the handloom artisans behind it. The result was a visual celebration of craft and the heartfelt endeavor to sustain a beautiful tradition while empowering the weaving community.
